Has anyone seen crazy things when taking Ambien ?
I started taking ambien because I have an MD in the family and he loves to give whatever medicine he can give you even without asking. Whenever I had insomnia I use to take benadryl and it worked OK with the dry sensation. Anyway, He gave me ambien just because I was going to bed at 1 am. He was giving to me like candy and since I had some mild insomnia it was great to sleep when I wanted. But now after I have a couple of extra drinks I see some weird stuff before going to bed and sometimes at work the lower right corner of the monitor starts to shake and I see like semicircles jumping up and down. Sometimes I see faces of mean people, like pirates going around like in a carousel. I still take ambien at least twice a month and I only experience drowsiness and heart palpitations(I feel I am going to die). I found that by just eliminating alcohol and caffeine I can sleep pretty good. Has anyone experience these weird things?
there is a small percentage of people who have such a reaction to ambien( my husband is one of them) dont drink if you take it! and if ANYTHING gives you heart palpatations…dont take it!
it sounds like the doc in your family is not acting very responsibly in giving out meds so freely! take care of yourself
